Tora Wall is an author and folklorist. Her latest book The Forest: In Folklore, Legends and Tales was nominated for the August Prize 2024. She has also published the book The Essence of Folklore. Encyclopedia, in which readers encounter magical beings and mysterious creatures from the fantastic storytelling treasure of peasant society. She previously worked for a long time as a folklorist at the Nordic Museum, responsible for the folk memory collection. She currently devotes herself to writing, lecturing and researching as a doctoral student in Nordic folklore studies at Åbo Akademi University.
