With a unique ability to touch his audience, Kasino has quickly established himself as one of Sweden's most interesting artists. With lyrics that delve into both the beauty of romance and the cracks in perfection, Kasino creates melodies where electronic drums meet acoustic guitars.
In the spring of 2020, Johannes Runemark emerged as a solo artist under the name Kasino and made a strong impression with the critically acclaimed debut single Skriva om dig. The same year, he followed up with the EP Du and then Vattnet är värmt splålla kom i jag lovar.
In 2024 he released the EP Trött, followed by a solo tour where the shows quickly sold out and were met with praise. He was named Artist of the Future in P3, praised by the press and received 6 out of 6 stars in Gaffa for his performance in Stockholm. In the same year he had a success at Stay Out West in front of a packed audience.
In parallel, Kasino has built a solid track record as a producer and songwriter, with collaborations with Miriam Bryant, Melissa Horn, Thomas Stenström and Veronica Maggio, among others. In 2025, he was nominated for a Grammy in the Composer of the Year category for his work on Maja Francis' album Hello Cowboy, and has previously been a key figure behind Thomas Stenström's Superlativ 97.
Alva Tång – artist and songwriter from Lima, Dalarna who with her unique and magnificent voice touches everyone who listens. With her own version of commercial indie pop, she moves in the same musical world as Thomas Stenström, Myra Granberg and Hurula.
Constant touring for many years on Sweden's indie scene has paid off with support gigs for Marit Bergman, Vånna inget and Pascal, among others. With a serious Bruce Springsteen complex, she plans to become Sweden's answer to The Boss very, very soon.
