Élodie Antoine (b.1978) is living and working in Brussels, Belgium. Avesta Art is the first time the artist will be exhibiting in Sweden. She is presenting sculptural installations with concepts about hair and contamination. A common thread in her work is the contrast between attraction and repulsion, dialogue about the body, family and the organic. Her work is made from material such as fabric, flax and everyday objects. In her art she explores the contrast between materials and motif, and how the viewer might interepret these juxtapositions. Élodie has a degree in sculpture from École nationale supérieure des arts visuels.
