Magnus Alexandersson

(b.1973) Lives in Stockholm

Magnus’ paintings are characterized by long and often horizontal lines, which combine to form geometric bodies and architectonic landscapes. His work can be seen as abstract, yet also figurative in its structural composition, where the colours are sometimes sharp and clean, and at other times soft and light, providing a contrast to the strict order created by the precision of the lines. The works provide a three-dimensional effect in a two-dimensional form.
